C.J. Kimberlin is a Seattle based independent game developer creating awesome experiences.

History

Early history

The Summer before 9th grade was when C.J. first truly explored programming. He created a top down down online multiplayer shooter using the BYOND engine. So enamored with programming he began to explore other technologies. He built websites and participated in programming competitions. After high school he went to the University of Texas at Austin for Computer Science and worked on the side as a web developer. Once he received my degree I was employed as a software engineer in operating system security for three years. During this time he teamed up with a few other people to participate in Ludum Dare competitions. It was during these that he realized that his calling was what brought him to programming in the first place, making games.

Bit Ball

After creating various failed prototypes for the Oculus Rift, C.J. started exploring smaller scoped 2D ideas. Eventually he created the prototype Ace that would eventually become Bit Ball. Bit Ball is currently being developed and is scheduled to be released soon free for PC with possible console releases.
